Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long do the trips last?

    Each trip varies depending on the location. Most trip descriptions note the total time, including time on the water.

  • What can/should we bring along on the trip?

    • Sunscreen (please no spray-on sunscreen application on the boat please)  
    • Hat, sunglasses, beach towels if you go swimming  
    • Food/snacks, your favorite beverage (cooler with ice and water will be provided on the boat)  
    • Camera/binoculars  
    • A light jacket or sweatshirt is also a good idea, even on a warm day, as it sometimes gets breezy on the water.
  • Can our trip be extended once we're out?

    If there isn’t another trip booked after yours and the weather is good we will try and extend your trip. The added cost will be $125 per hour for a minimum of 1 hour.

  • How many passengers can go on the trips?

    A maximum of 6 passengers, regardless of age.  


    All passengers under the age of (13) are required to wear life vests while on board.

  • Is the a restroom on board?

    Sorry, there is not one on board. 

  • Will other groups be on the boat with us?

    No. This will be a private experience for your group only.

  • Do you allow pets on the boat?

    Unfortunately, we do not.

  • What type of payment do you accept?

    Most major credit cards and cash are accepted.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    We require a minimum of 48-hour cancellation notice prior to your trip in order to receive a refund. If the trip is canceled by the captain prior to departure for weather or other unforeseen reasons, you will receive a full refund.

  • Are there life vests aboard the boat?

    Yes. Per US Coast Guard, we are required to have life vests for every passenger aboard. If you have a child under 3 years old they must have their own life jacket.

  • Are the trips safe for pregnant women?

    We would recommend you consult with your doctor to be sure. Our trips are safe and we will do everything possible to give you a smooth comfortable experience, but we will be out on the water and can’t control the surface condition.

  • Is the boat Handicap accessible?

    Sorry but unfortunately it is not, nor are the docks that we depart from.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    Smoking is not permitted on the boat or on the dock we depart from.

  • Where does that boat depart from?

    Our trips depart from and return to McCarthy’s Marina at 11401 Andy Rosse Lane, Captiva, FL. 33924. If you would want to be picked up or dropped off at a different location, please contact us and we will see what can be arranged.
